The history.txt file says under v1.66:
3. Fixed - Cloaked minesweepers will decloak their entire group if they encounter a minefield (regardless of their minister settings).
I *think* this applies to a known minefield. i.e. one that is tagged with a minefield marker. Can anyone confirm if a minesweeper will decloak to sweep a known minefield? or is this broken?

Been there too.
Slick.
Really?
I am in exaulted company! High praise indeed, but undeserved. I have made all the dumb mistakes you read about here in the forum and maybe even invented a few new ones.
It is a good way to learn, though.

So, what we have here is a mod in the making: Cloaking dual-purpose sweeper/layer module for us slower-to-figure-it-out people .
How about decloaked mines? For us dummies, of course.
Slick.
