Are homeplanets affected by high/catastrophic events?

I was very sceptical too, but then my HW went from Good to Deadly in one month

However, there might be a trend for HW be protected, but it is not 100%. Only MM can tell us.

your saying you went from good to deadly, that is a what, -50 to 90 drop?
At -5 or a -10 even a -20 event how can you drop to deadly from good in one turn?

What are the numbers, if
100 is optimal
mild ?
good ?
unpleasent ?
harsh ?
0 is deadly
