Default Logic Behind the Lucidity

Hi All,

I posted a similar topic in the beta test forum, but I also wanted to talk about it with you all.

I'd like to use this topic for for questions that start with, "How come you...?" or "What in the heck were you thinking when...?" In other words, the logic behind the rules. Certainly you'll have more of these type of questions when the demo releases at the end of this month, but we can talk about it before then.

For example, LnL includes Support Weapons, such as M-60s, RPDs, RPGs, and LAWs. It also has Weapon Teams (12.7mm, .50 cal).

Support Weapon markers represent a weapon. It must be fired by a squad, half-squad, or in some cases a single man (or woman) counter.

On the other hand the Weapons Team represent weapon and crew. And the logic behind that rule was to avoid the whole ASL poratage Point fiasco, which I think is very cumbersome. In LnL if it's a Support Weapon a squad can always carry two, fire one with no detriment, and fire both by sacrificing your inherrent firepower.

Ya'll like that?

Best,
Mark
