Well, let's just say that I hired the Eternal Knights after Marignon had them, thinking if all 8 were there it would be OK, and half of them are diseased

And Cardinal Carmont is invading me with 100 mixed troops, of which every single one is starving, and half are in advanced stages of disease. Food isn't a normal resource (perhaps it should be?), but regardless, I wouldn't worry too much.
