Default Monotheistic Monoculture - Wish

Dom2 encompasses an impressive variety of different cultures, however the religious system imposed on them seem all monotheistic to me. This is odd, so here is my first guess at implementing a polytheistic (non-henotheistic) religion in Dom2. I also wonder what other religion types are not modelled and might be fun to play?

My guess at modelling polytheism:
A player may create several pretenders, each one as usual (except castle, maybe except scales, i.e. only chassis and type). Furthermore he may assign a "presence-time" between 2-36 to each pretender design. During the game, a player has one pretender available. After x turns, where x is the "presence-time", it is replaced by the next pretender.

Examlpe: I design 4 pretenders with 3 presence time. So each season, the player controls a different pretender-god with different capabilities. One may imagine that each pretender symbolizes and is linked to one of the seasons, say a Daugther of the Land for spring, a Son of the Sun for the summer, etc. Of course, the bless effects should also depend on the actual pretender.

As a first guess for the total design points should be the maximum of the design point cost for each pretender, plus a penalty similarly increasing as the cost for dominion strength.

Another question is how gods are replaced. Do they incarnate always at the captial? Or at the current location of the prophet? Should, as a further penalty for the increased flexibility, the leadership be vacant for at least one turn before the new pretender manifests himself?

I think it might be quite interesting and challenging to plan ahead with an ever changing pretender...
