It has all the best elements and fixes things that were not so good in Space Empires IV, plus it has true 3D graphics and is even more moddable... so what do you think?

The only reason why you might not enjoy it as much is that you've been playing Space Empires for the last 5 years so the type of the game may not be as fresh.
