I was wondering if there is a way to restrict a AI Design Creation by tech requirement.

For example I don't want the AI to deisgn ships unless it has a specific racial triat or technology for that size.

I am attempting to set up two levels of AI control. One would be more for RPG playing and the other for more aggressive hard core single player game play.

In the STM all races have differant size ship hulls. However the AI that I am now designing would be a generic AI thus it would have its own specific ship sizes.

What I need to do is have both the Stock STM AI ships sizes and the new AI Challenge ship sizes iin the design creation file but restrict one of the AI's from using the other.

Could I accomplish this by using specific sizes. One AI would not be able to use the others AI desings because they would not match the racial trait size for ships allowed for that AI in the vehcile size file?

I think that might work. I am going too try that.
