Default Re: Frechdachs Gangbang

Server is up and running, check above for IP and port.

The map is 30 sea and 120 land provinces, making it 10/player. The random map generator was used, but I have added a couple of extra connections to connect all oceans and to add some land bridges. In general, there is no big secret about his map. The image of the map can be viewed at http://www.fams.de/fd-gb.jpg

The server was started with the following settings:

./dom3 --tcpserver --port 8192 --hours 24 --quickhost --textonly --noclientstart \
--mapfile Dollhouse.map \
--hofsize 15 \
--totalvp 30 \
--requiredvp 12 \
--masterpass \
--renaming \
--statfile \
--scoredump \
--era 2 \
--indepstr 3 \
--magicsites 50 \
--postexec /home/schoelle/bin/dom3-save-game \
Frechdachs_Gangbang

I assume that 12 out of 30 VPs is tough enough with that many players that the game should keep us busy for some time. Indies are weak as I do not want too many players to curse about loosing pretenders to them. Expansion should be hindered by other players soon enough.

The master password will only be used in absolut emergencies. I am planning to disable quickhost once the game is going. Also, with that number of players it will be difficult to respect all absenses. We will see how it works out, but do not be too much afraid of stale turns

Also, the stat-file will be available globally (if nobody minds).
