Minimum range for VIRSS activation?

I suppose there should be a minimum range for it to work.. It seemingly annoys me that when I fired short range ATGMs, like the 9M111 from under 100m (2 hexes), the targetted AFV fires of it VIRSS and causes my missile to go AWOL..

Is it possible to implement an option that allows settings for VIRSS minimum range?
