1) The Chalice and Mage Bane are a class of their own. Hitting is not a problem
with Mage Bane. Worse come to worst, send two fliers, the first equipped, for
example, with two rat tails, a horned helmet, boots of speed, a stone bird, and a
dancing trident. There's your defense minus 40, right there. And then comes the
executioner, with Mage Bane.

Artifacts that I hate used against me... the Forbidden Light is a pain, and I've
had people complain a lot about the Arc.

As for useless, Hell, many are. And of course, the horror mark/insanity/curse
makes other not worth using.
