Only the 64-bit version of XP will recogonize the 500Gb drive as a whole. Otherwise it will only recogonize 186Gb. I partitioned mine like this:
part 1 = 140GB (Win XP - MBR)
parts 2 & 3 180GB each. (Programs & Files).

Just get WIN XP to create 3 partitions on your HD.
