I read recently that the Bren Gun Carrier – in its various forms – was the most numerous AFV in history. Between 35,000 to 57,000 were produced by 1945 (I think the 35k figure is for the UK) and 113, 000 were eventually manufactured.
In SP I noticed that the Canadians, ANZAC and Indian forces can purchase Bren Gun Carriers, but for the British it’s not so easy.
As the British you can pretty much only get a Bren Gun Carrier if you purchase a whole Mechanized Support or Patrol platoon (with infantry); or you can get it as a scout vehicle with Vickers MG, where it can only carry an addition 2 men.
It would be nice to just buy a couple of Bren Gun Carriers without strings attached, like the other nations. The Brits can buy Lloyd carriers as ‘prime movers’, but these have no Bren Gun.
If you get a chance this would be a useful adjustment for a future update.
