I think the problem that you are having is that you are so reliant on sacreds (who even for Agartha are hard to mass, especially with sloth) and those expensive troglodytes (they really aren't that useful, your staying power is the sacreds). I can mass huge armies of very good cavalry, battlefield undead, and archers very quickly (I had actually stopped creating armies after my initial expansion phase, but when you and Abysia jumped me I was able to start turning out 100 of those poison archers a turn, and over 90 of my heavy cavalry in addition to continuing construction, mage recruiting, and acquiring substantial numbers of useful indies like those fireproof spearmen... more than enough to be quite effective). As a result you have been forced to play defense with those huge armies, but if you divide them up they will get beaten. Blade winds are effective against my archers, but I can field so many of them it really doesn't make too much of a difference especially as my goal was just attrition.
