Random Battle Generator problem

Hello,

I'm having an issue with the random battle generator. When I try to set up a battle with human purchase, deploy, and control on both sides, the program will not get past the purchase save screen for the second player and cycles back to the main screen. Any ideas on what could be causing this? A botched install?

I am running the program on windows 7...could this be a related problem?
