Re: MRAPs and a couple of general questions.
The total DoD buy as of November 2009 was ~6,500 vehicles. By January 2010, it was 6,619. A news story in March 2010 suggested the Army's portion of that was ~6,000 vehicles by itself. That's the latest info I have. I have not seen anything clear about their distribution, but I assume that they are likely being subbed in for UAHs as appropriate.
