I like also to see it as "Player's morale".
If an army still has 200 units on the battlefield but routs, the battle is lost.
If a player goes AWOL because he started to lose or lose interest, then that considers in my book as "The player is routed"
(understand: I broke his will)
Of course, that's not the case here, neither for Patala (who could crush me like a bug if he wants) or Marignon (hey: he just prevents us to use any gem!
). So I'll let more experimented players the choice to call it a game or try to save it.
Whatever, it was my first game here and I learned a few tricks (and I crushed Caelum who doubled me with Patala.
