Well, if you won't say it, I will. DS9 was a sleazy, deliberate and obvious attempt to 'stamp out' potential competition to the Star Drek Cash Cow and it definitely used huge amounts of detailed material from JMS own outline submitted to Paramount when he was shopping around.
