Sounds fair (unless you start right beside me, then I'll scream I was cheated! ) Cool, will upload emp.
Good Luck, I hope this game can be as fun and interesting as Last time. Oh, and if you do win - you better get that shiny crown!! What about rating?
I am happy too.

Joachim, I assumed it would be rated but I guess we never formally said so.
Then, the race is on.

Re: Are you tough enough to be the "King of the Hill"?
hi i have surrenedered to Gand. In our game.
I have completely failed to keep up with turns. And I just could not offer the game that my friend expects and deservers. So I have surrendered. And I offer an appology to Gand. I do look forward to playing again down the road. But only after I know I can offer a good and timely game playing.
Simon.

No apology necessary bud. Sometimes RL gets in the way. I am only sorry to see you lose in this fashion. I too look forward to meeting you in future games and wish you luck with whatever you need it for.

Re: Are you tough enough to be the "King of the Hill"?
Joachim vs Slynky - 2405.0
Slynky surrenders. It was a game of "too much": Joachim had too much of the galaxy, too much skill, and too many ships! I've played him enough to know he will be unstopable with this kind of advantage...so I've saved time for both him and me by doing the honorable thing...surrendering in the face of the obvious.
You played a very good game. But you owe me! Anyone who stops me from getting a shot at the King had better knock him off his throne or I feel my defeat was in vain .
Good luck, mate!

Re: Are you tough enough to be the "King of the Hill"?
EEK ! EEK !
Just realized my surrender pits me against Mark the Merciful at the bottom of the hill...what a STRANGE twist of fate...starting a team game with him and another game against him...fate is so funny sometimes.

Ahhh... Good afternoon, Slynky (licks lips in anticipation). It will be an honour for you to act as the first stepping stone on my path to Greatness.
Default KOTH settings? Or does everyone ban Ancient these days?

Re: Are you tough enough to be the "King of the Hill"?
Naw, I don't ban Ancient in KOTH games. I'll take standard KOTH settings with the exception of wanting a GOOD planet to start with.
BTW, just remembered this will be my 3rd game with you...besides the one you beat me at before, we never finished another "test" one we started. My lucky number is 3, and 3rd time is the charm as they say (*crosses fingers*).
