Re: #se4 on Gamesurge IRC
Heres my testimony - I tried it and I learned a lot about the game in just a short while. And even more about modding.

Re: #se4 on Gamesurge IRC
You know, if you are going to come in (which you should), you have to stay for more than a minute. People in there aren't just staring at the screen waiting for you to show up.
Putting that aside, come on in! Chat with SE4 people in real-time! It's loads of fun.

Re: #se4 on Gamesurge IRC
Ok. Wait for like 5 minutes then. When using MSN/AOM/ICQ/Yahoo, do you sign in, see noone talks to you, then sign off within 1 minute? No, I didn't think so. Why would you do the same thing with IRC?

Re: #se4 on Gamesurge IRC
No, I just usually do an "Idle Whois" to see how long everyone's been idle. If no one's been around in, say ~2 hours, I usually head out. If it's been an hour or so, I'll wait around for 5-10 minutes. If no one shows up, then I'll leave.

Re: #se4 on Gamesurge IRC
The old conversation could have died, and you coming in could stir it back up again (well, nothing special about you, just new blood).

Re: #se4 on Gamesurge IRC
I confess! I sometimes leave if no one immediately reponds. Blame it on impatience.
