Speaking of Stargate, on the SciFi Channel they moved it to Friday night along with Farscape. Of course Farscape is suppose to be have been canceled, which is very disappointing.

Do you guys watch/like Farscape?

farscape has also been renewed for 1 more season. guess it is ironic that both shows that survived 1 more season would be put together on the same night. i have enjoyed both series. now i am collecting the dvds for both seried then i can watch them anytime i want.

Yeah, and they seem to cancel one scifi series after another. Don't really understand that. Some of them may have been garbage. But they where not all garbage!

I really like Farscape and Stargate. I occasionally watch Enterprise, but that I can take or leave.

I liked the first season of Andromeda. It seemed like it was really going somewhere, but it went downhill throughout season 2. Season 3 has just plain sucked. I still watch it hoping that something good will happen and it will get better. (and the women are cute!)

Now, Odyssey 5 is a different matter. I think the show has the potential to be on the same level as Babylon 5. No show will ever come close to touching B5, but O5 may have the best chance of achieving that level of depth and thought.

Just my opinions, of course.

O5: I missed the first 3 or 4 episodes, and have been lost ever since. I tried a couple of times, but.... Hell, I'm so confused by that show that I don't even know what questions to ask to figure out the storyline!!!

Er, did I say lost? I meant "temporarily discombobulated". Men don't get lost. Right?

Hadrian,

They don't dumb it down because scifi fans are stupid. They dumb it down to attract more viewers.
Since I have a feeling you were refering to my post here. That is why I said,

well just because they are 'moron's'. Doesn't mean that all the scifi viewer are!
We scifi fans are just part of the total viewership, after all!

I reiterate just because they are morans, doesn't mean 'we' are!

DL, they are rerunning all the episodes O5. If you are interested!

Default Re: Stargate Movie??

As I stated earlier, I have never been a fan of the Stargate series when I found out that the original movie producers wanted to do a trilogy and couldn't because of Showtime getting the rights. I've seen an episode from time to time, but as in most series, I can't find the time to watch it regularly. I don't get to watch the Sci-Fi channel that much due to the wife being what I call the "queen of the remote-control" (which means there's only 2 shows that I put my foot down to watch, Enterprise and 24). I've never seen a complete episode of Andromeda. I just happened to discover it by accident one time, but the only channel I know it's on is WGN, and I just haven't had the chance to watch it. And unfortunately, I don't have the Showtime package, so I can't watch Odyssey 5. I happened to see the pilot episode during one of those free weekends. I liked what I saw, but I can't afford to add Showtime, not with the HBO, Starz and Encore packages that I have. I guess I'll wait for it to come out on DVD; the same with Jeremiah.
