I took a look at the Adamant home page. It looks interesting, but I got the impression that only the Physical stuff is done. I'd have to see more of the Magical races' data to know if it's what I had in mind - something like a Spelljammer campaign (i.e. everybody's magical). I'll have to take a closer look at the Fantasy Mod and see what he did with facilities - that's probably close to how I'd envisionage it...
Not that I want to do this all by myself. If enough interest in this thing is generated, perhaps this could be moved to a new message thread...

A qualified "yes", as I don't have 3D modelling software and have zero experience at that sort of thing. That's why I first came here, to download shipsets...
Some good starting shipsets for a background like this (pending orginal authors' approval) might be the Space Vikings/Valkyries ala Dogscoff, and the SaltyDogs from PBW.

I just downloaded the Fantasy Mod. I'll have to look over the data files to see what the structure is. Just for starters, I'd probably just try re-naming the basic SEIV stuff to a more Spelljammer-esque environment, and then tweak it from there.
Any other ideas? (nervously glancing towards the Imperator...)

Woundwort, the Magic and Organic races have plenty of items done already. I just haven't gotten around to updating the site yet.  Try actually getting the mod and looking at it instead.
Pretty much the only major thing that needs to be done still is to totally revamp the weapons system.
Adamant mod could be turned into a "spelljammer only" system by just having only Magic races in the game.
