Re: I am back (edit: not yet, but hopefully soon...)
Thanks all, for the welcome back .
boy, when things go wrong...
I am having some severe computer problems at the moment . That is why I haven't anwsered any mails or did any turns yesterday.
I don't know the cause, but in the worst case my machine died. Hopefully I can salvage my current files and not lose any latest developments...
to my PBW hosts: I can understand that the games must continue. I don't want to hold up the games much longer, so if you want to continue without me, plaese feel free to do so, as I don't know if or when I will solve this problem.
later,
Rollo

Hey, don't fret Rollo. PBW is down again. Maybe it's contagious. Hope you get up and rolling again! (Pun intended)

Im Glad your back FAMOUS ROLLO, creater of Devenull mode .Happy,Happy,Happy, joy, joy, joy.
No, Devnull was the creator of the Devnull mod. Geo made it compatible with Gold, and Rollo currently maintains it.

Re: I am back (edit: not yet, but hopefully soon...)
Hi,
here is an update on my computer problems.
bad news: my computer has (almost) died. I can get it (barely) running form time to time, but not enough to play SE4.
good news: most likely I can salvage the files. So none of the latest developments is lost and neither are my e-mails.
I have ordered parts for a new machine. The new computer could be up and running by the end of this week or the begin of next.
to my PBW hosts: don't wait on me. I have delayed the games too long already. Especially the KOTH game. Geo, please give the win to Pablo.
cya later,
Rollo
PS: question for the computer geeks: I have the option to either install Win 2000 or XP. Any recommendations?

Sorry, to hear about your PC.
Chose W2k, I used it for over 2 years now and never had any real trouble. The advantage to XP IMHO is that you have more control over the system. XP tries to keep you away from its guts but a bit to much for my likeing.
