Animations: Not really. There is a little animation in the stellar manipulation screens and I suppose you could count the weapons firing in combat, but otherwise, no.

SEV: Malfador have said they are aiming to release se5 in summer of 2004. That might be a little optimistic, who knows. In the meantime, take a look at www.malfador.com and check out starfury- it's not se5 but it's how se5 might look.
