The ships in Star Fury and SE:V will be using .x files and .bmp textures that works with the MS DirectX stuff. I've fiddled around a bit with it (I hope to get a shipset or two in SE:V

), and it is a bit more difficult. However, I think there are converters out there that will help convert other formats to .x files. I'll look into it more down the road.
Aaron mentioned to me in an e-mail that he'll release more specs on the ship styles soon.
