Re: Citizen Federation Version 2.0 available !
Aside from the Star Trek mod, I'm also working on the replacement for the former Spoogy Federation (now known as the Juprup Federation) shipset as my final projects for SE:IV.
After that, I'm going to start thinking about Space Empires V and a potential mod I have in mind for it already.

Re: Citizen Federation Version 2.0 available !
By the way, what will be the format for SE V ships ? Will it be possible to convert graphics made with doga ? with bryce ?

Re: Citizen Federation Version 2.0 available !
Well, Starfury ships will be .x files (directx), IIRC, so one would assume that SEV ships will be the same.
There are plug-ins for many 3d programs to export to that format. If you can't find one for your program of choice there are file converters that can do it for you.
A question for the shipset designers: If you make a new shipset for Starfury or SEV, can't you also release that set for SEIV, since it's just a matter of rendering to a bmp? For that matter, if you've saved the 3d project file for a SEIV shipset can't you use that for the new games? Just curious.

Re: Citizen Federation Version 2.0 available !
It seems it's impossible to export bryce 5 files to any other format. Too bad for the pirates & starship empire.
Perhaps you will see a spaceshark SE V Version, as DOGA L3 allows savings in .x format.
What software would you use to create .x file ?

Personally, I'd use 3ds max since that's all I've got for 3d.
Most of the mainstream programs (Maya, Lightwave, ect.) can do the export either natively or through a plug-in. Bryce seems to be an exception, which is a shame since it can produce some amazing work.
