Re: The planet from nowhere!...
Spatial warp events don't warp planets... would be cool if they did though!

Re: The planet from nowhere!...
A cloaked planet maker may be possible. There is no asteroid field in the system now. I AM playing against the TDM AI's in this game. I just never knew that the TDM's were programmed to use Planet Making components!

Oh yes they do. I can verify that. They will make use of lots of the advanced Stellar Manipulation components. I have seen warp openers, star destroyers, planet makers. I usually don't let them get too far past the star destroyer stage before I have to take them out.

Those also occur in FQM, so if you were playing with it, check for storms.
Can a cloaked ship actually do stellar manipulation? I guess if it is a boring sequential game the ship could decloak, do SM and recloak all on the same turn, but I still don't think you can do SM while cloaked...

Never let The AI Have a Stellar Manipulation ship in a system with anything of yours in! I was trying to capture my enemies homeworld with a fleet of 50 ships when my Ally decided to send a sun destroyer in!

Re: The planet from nowhere!...
question: Is it possible to mod a component that will cloak a planet? Perhaps by putting it on a weapon platform or a station or something? Or is it possible to give this abillity to a facility?
