If I'm not mistaken it looks like that because of the angle. The wings are actually the same size on each side, but with the angle that it is being looked at makes it look like one is shorter. Just like if you look at a human being with their arms spread out from an angle similar to that, the far arm looks shorter then the near arm. Thanks, I could no have said it better.
The Son's ships are not that large. They are afterall ships created by a narrow minded people who think they should live forever.

Re: New Son\'a Ship Set Completed
Remember to that the images are PNG on the display page. That means the quality is lower as the file size is smaller. The BMP images look much much better.
Also keep in mind that the Son'a only had two ships in the movie so I took creative lisence with the rest of them.
I am proud to have these in my ship set collection, as I could not stand the old set. HOWEVER, someone could take all of the new sets and combine them with the old sets and make NEO Standard ++ sets with them.
I just don't care too.

That defeats the purpose of using PNG. PNG is designed for lossless compression. You might as well use JPGs if you are going to use overly compressed PNGs.

I like the Satillites where they had the turrets on them, ala your Pandoran shipset.
just my 2 cents.

Then you should check out Phoenix-D's custom clukruk set on PBW. Big turret sats=-) It's a really cool race, and it really makes yer neutral more interesting.
hmm... clukruk doesn't seem to be listed on the race dir.

Hummm :|
Thanks for the comment, but you must understand that each race is unique and should have differant things such as Satellites and Mines.
The Satellite in the Son'a set is vertually the same Satellite that it had in the first set. The Son'a were my first Star Trek DoGa set and I have always wanted to go back and redo them.
It is incredably difficult to make decent ships with curves in DoGa and that is why I have waited so long to redo them.
I have just released my final Ship Set for SE IV the Vaadwaur, and will not be developing any more for this game. I will finish up the latest Versions of the Breen and Andorian, but after they are done, I am done.
Did you know that if you find an image from one set that you like you can copy it over to a differant set, rename it and use it?
In the Last two years I have produced over 30 ship sets and made over 20 one of a kind sets with one of a kind images. That is a lot for one person to do, and to be frank, my imagination is kaput.
I have nearly 20 different Version of ships, mines, satellites, weapon platforms, troops, fighters, bases, and so on. Somewhere in all of them there should be a few images that you may like. If not, then I suggest you give ship set developing a run and see what you can come up with. Having more sets is always a welcome thing.
