Well, I just got it in time. I scrambled to study ships and PPB after that...as you can see, I got to LC with PPB 2's before they had to rush off to war.

When I missed that turn, the dumb AI moved all my fighters away from the warp holes I need to guard. In the south, it just so happens "Weed Boy" came through with 17 ships right after they got back in place but were out of fuel. So, he took a few losses but made it through the hole. Talk about scrambling! These days, I keep about 6 ships down there and he sends 3 or 4 ships through every turn. Needless to say, I'm getting a well-trained fleet down there. Since he lost so many ships, he bomards me with treaty offers every 2 turns. Usually something about needing to "share the light"...

BTW: If it is clear your plaent is about to be captured remember to scrap the facilites. If you think you won't be able to re capture it, Abandon it. Don't let it fall into my hands.

Well, I expect to see 60 ships or so after that remark...let me open my turn and take a look.

Darn "flower childrem" south of me! Loading their ships with armor after armor of 150kt of damage absorbtion. Takes forever to kill one of their ships.

Well, if I make mistakes, I gotta live with them. As to losing planets in Slynkyland (REALLY embarrassing!), I didn't think I'd lose them.

Taking Slynkyland was desparation. I knew they would never survive going back through Deadness so I chanced the black hole.
Those ships made it throgh the black hole of "Steve is Badenough" and arrived with one turn with supplys left.

I just did the math. If I threw 1/2 my fleet through the warp point at Paradice i would still lose.

19 Sats with 2 PPB each - 38 shots at 100 pts per
All those fighters
a few LCS
how many BCs???
