Er, Small Shield Depleters? they're awful! They're only a bit better than the next component, and since they're shields only . . . better to use something a little less powerful that actually deals real damage.

interestingly, the TDB really shines as a small component - in fact, the racial weapons in general just seem to have very good small Versions.

Umm, Tachyon Cannons are temporal weapons that are direct fire normal damage...Tachyon Projection Cannons are Only Weapons and useless on planets...

It was Twain. Much too witty for Lincoln who was generally more rhetorical in his turns of phrase.

Hmmmm. A Google search has it attributed to Twain 3 or 4 times, Unknown a couple of times and to Abraham Lincoln once. Its at times like these that one needs an actual reference book that has been fact checked and edited. But the Last time I saw one of those it was really dusty from lack of use...
