Malfador can do a Capcom and change the name of the series entirely! (Remember how they jumped from Megaman 6 to Megaman X - then Legends and Battle Network? Well, now we don't have Space Empires V, we have... Space Empires Armada!!! )

Or do a Nintendo/Microsoft and jump to some 1337-sounding number - power of 2 (Super Mario 64 - what happened to 4 through 63? ), current year (Windows 95/98/2000), whatever!
