Perhaps this forum is so much more popular than the other games' is due to the close-knit threads (no pun intended) that bind SE players together. In most games, the majority of the excitement and plot are derived from the game itself. In SE, however, much of the excitement, and almost all of the plot, are derived from the players themselves. So we are so bonded to each other in-game, that this forum is just an out-of-character extension of the game.
BTW, I can't say for certain if this is true, as I myself haven't played MP yet (though I've followed the forum for a long time). Waiting for my SEIV Gold to arrive. It should be here shortly after the weekend, and that does indeed r0xx0r!

So it's very similar to the army word "Hua" (or hooah, or however else you want to spell it), except that hua also mean things like yes, right, correct, or other affirmatives.
