Actually there's only one source of dehydration: lack of water.
All those things can make you develop sympthoms (sp?), such as peeing or sweating too much or diarrea that will make you lose more water than what you drink.
Jack, do you think I don't make as many typos in my mother tonge. 
I suspect that it must have something to do with the fact that I hardly ever re-read my Posts before hitting the Add Reply button. 
...and very rarely afterwards...

A lack of water does not cause dehydration, it is dehydration. A lack of water could cause a person to be diagnosed with dehydration, but I'm awfully sure dehydration is the name for a lack of water, not the result of a lack of water.
Note: latex paint causes dehydration.

Dehydration is an extended lack of sufficient levels of water. You can become dehydrated while drinking very small amounts of water. Or while drinking sea water, which is indeed water, but the salt content makes it very very bad for humans. |
