Perhaps a portable generator?

Re: PBW Server Problem?
Yeah, UPS's aren't really intended to keep operations going in the absence of power, just to allow the system to shut down in an orderly fashion and to smooth out momenary dips and brownouts. There are some battery systems that allow continuous operation during a blackout like a generator would, but they are pretty expensive. I don't really think either is worth it. Although I have been meaning to get a UPS to help save the motherboard if we have a storm or something.
I'm sure the power will be back soon. Probably by the time I get home it will be back on. Till I get there I can't do much anyway. so it's gonna be at least another hour I'd say.
