Romulan Starcat

I changed the name of the thread because I have been asking my self this question for weeks now. Why bother with new ship sets? I mean the game already have over 200 ship sets and who would want more?

The answer is simple, me. I love, rather really enjoyed, making ship sets. I enjoy the time I spend creating the images in my minds eye and sharing them with people who may or may not appreciate them. The fact that an image concept can go from thought to pratical game use in less than eight hours is amazing to me.

I really enjoy it when a design comes together, and often really get depressed when a design fails. Note the Romulan ships.

I started these before I did the set for Fyron, and have been debating whether or not to work on making a complete set. But once again the question comes up, why bother? I honestly don't know why I should, but I will more than likely do it out of bordom.

Other than me and just about everyone else here, I can't think of anyone.

I'm glad you enjoy doing them. Just keep them coming.

Every time I start a new game (solo), I want to have an element of surprise when encounter other empires. That is not easy when you played SE for I don't know, 1000 times? This is why I have 100+ ship sets and add every new one I like.
More is better !

The new romulan ships rock Atrocities. The Romulans are my favourite star trek race ship wise and i know for a fact that even after starfury is released i'm going to come back to space empires iv. So any more shipsets created is good news. I like to be suprised as well when playing seiv so when new shipsets come out i always add them.

The only criticism i can offer is perhaps the romulan ships are to light. But i can live with that as the models are great! I always wanted to fly around in a custom made Romulan warbird!

The new Romulan Ships look gorgeous

Then again, everything you do appeals to everyone here in one way or another.

You're our very own Picasso!

You think that these Romulan models are a failure?!? You must be mad. Those are some sweet images and, I might add, much needed. I have wanted the romulans to get a bit of a facelift for a while now. I eagerly await their release.
