Re: Treban Kendia Tregwal Wars
Kisana's vision and the Barbarian-Empath war
(Or, Diluger-Partani war)
"Kisana, we have plans for building better boarding parties. And Ambassador reports they have made contact with Diluger."
"I dreamt of a war unknown to us, that could cost billions of lives, it was between Alyden and Gweld Gath, but they each have allies now. Then in my dream I turned to see construction centers being built, preparations made for a long term large scale war on us, the Last thing I see was the Barbarian crest of old. If we prepare troops and boarding party ships, supply ships and troop ships, we have a chance to defeat them with our touch powers, but they have many more options than we do, only because they are preparing for a long war do we have a chance."
"Give all the ships missile defense, Kisana, that is crucial, missiles are the best way to defend a planet. And we need lots of troops."
"The best thing to do will be to capture the construction bases they have and use them for our purposes."
"Empaths' at war, just shows how fractured our old society is these days. We used to help all of them."

Re: Treban Kendia Tregwal Wars
Predictions of the Council of 3 of Avren Gath
In a message to Chieftain of Gweld Gath
Avren sent me a message, on 2402.7,
while I have been arranging for large scale construction of war equipment. This process continues unabated, we do not have much time left. Avren Gath is in severe trouble, Gath Hegessger broke our siege and now sieges our second ally Tyvalger. My worlds are the only chance that is left for Merauds' Alliance.
Meraud is the god of ends without consideration of means, the god of knowledge pursued in any manner possible. Avren's message follows:
"Four members of the council of 7 have been killed by cleric assassins placed during earlier unsuccessful bombardments, the paladins do not attack us using those means.
The Council of 3 have had a vision, the paladins are finally ready to destroy us. They have the means. Then the ways of Avren Gath, the ways of moon magic and temporal magic, they will vanish. With the siege of Tyvalger in progress as well, I want to give you some important information, for history if you succeed in repelling the attackers. The odds are not in your favor, but you still have a chance.
Avren Gath was the first in space, we knew the stars well before anyone else, it was Tyvalger in conjunction with their enemy Menger who teamed up to steal our plans. Menger sold the plans to everyone else, giving a cut of the profits to Tyvalger. As you know, six of us ended up nearby. The members of both alliances make up those six.
Amachi ended up much further away, the rest we don't know. Likely in the south, somewhere. Even if you defeat your current enemies, still Amachi, Diluger and Partani remain, you are the most widely hated among the other guilds, but fate left Avren Gath squeezed between three enemies, while you are in a good position to make logistics difficult for your enemies. Only the war magi have a direct route to you."
We may still have time to rescue both allies, if we can build an effective ship to ship design and get enough of them built in time. If it doesn't work, they still will have to travel a ways to reach our planets.
(A legend for those confused:
1. Gweld Gath Treban Death Mage or Necromancer
(This guild is still only in planning in the actual MMORPG)
2. Alyden Tregwal Cleric
3. Telger Kendia Ranger
4. Hegessger Tregwal Paladin or Knight
5. Tyvalger Treban Thief
6. Diluger Treban Barbarian
7. Avren Gath Kendia Moon Mage
8. Menger Tregwal Trader
9. Gath Hegessger Tregwal War Mage or Magic Knight
10. Amachi Kendia Bard or Bardess
11. Partani Kendia Empath or Healer

Re: Treban Kendia Tregwal Wars
The crazied thing just happened, by some sort of event, a Barbarian construction base warped all the way across the galaxy into the Cleric home system. And the barbarians have a HUGE bonus to attack(in Dragonrealms barbarians kick everyone elses' butt majorly).
Talk about flukes changing the course of history. Never seen bases move with an event, only ships.

Re: Treban Kendia Tregwal Wars
Year 2404
Battle of Avren's Revenge
I am here with the first Gwel Gath warfleet. Although our first efforts were weak in design and strength, we have corrected those mistakes now, and just in time.
Even without our efforts at rescue that are before us, Tyvalger has established a military colony that is successfully defending itself. It appears the war magi are weak, they are still in the Last campaign's mindset. They have not raised the stakes of battle.
All the strong empires of todays' world have built an industrial capacity in space, yet the war magi have not, the sieges are no excuse from a strategic point of view. They have become so engrossed in the siege on Tyvalger that they have not kept up with the ways of ship to ship warfare.
The Last message of any surviving Avren Gath came to us just before battle, the stranded and immobile colonial ship of Avren Gath sent one Last message to our fleet, a rallying cry for victory, if you will. "At Last, Meraud's flag flies for a fleet of great strength. Meraud now has his day,"
In battle, the war magi only have napalm ships and missile platforms, less than no threat to us. The Paladins are the strongest known force in the galaxy at this moment, but they have not shifted away from missiles yet, and this is an anti-missile fleet.
But conquering the war magi homeworld will not be possible today, the reversal of fortunes is so swift that we have not switched over to building ships with napalm in them, no point in even trying, with any size fleet if you don't have napalm. The specializations needed make a ship containing both anti planet and anti ship weapons very valuable, which in turn makes larger ship technology valuable.

Re: Treban Kendia Tregwal Wars
Necromancer's Dominion
There is nothing that can stop us, the Paladins have been humbled, the Clerics are outmanned, the galaxy is in our hands. We defeated a 28 ship paladin fleet losing one ship and destroying 23 of theres, leaving 5 which fled. Our missile defense was flawless. We have since regrouped and now lead a 30 ship fleet. We will turn immediately to the attack, the only question being against the Clerics or Paladins.
The PowerbLast ship is a superior design and we have just added 6 more PowerbLasts to our fleet. Tyvalger is free from worry now, we protect them and allow them to build up their infastructure, although they have lost much from the siege. The War magi do not have sufficient infastructure to threaten us, they will be quickly defeated.
Crew morale is at an all time high after our devastating victory. Avren Gath will be revenged. I declare that the counter-crusade has begun! Merauds' will shall be done.

Re: Treban Kendia Tregwal Wars
Chieftain 57
The bardic fleet has stopped bombing our world, for the moment, the current Lich believes they have ran out of supplies. The past year and a half have an extensive history which I will try to summarize.
Chieftain 53 led the anti-crusade fleet on several successful battles. The war magi were completely destroyed. Cleric and Paladin fleets were annihilated. And the cleric homeworld was crippled and plagued. After all of these successes, a fleet of Bardic ships warped in to our home system, and destroyed our defensive fleet and most of our population.
Then Chieftain 53 tried to send the Anti-Crusade fleet to stop the bards. But the Paladins had finally built a fleet of ships that could stop that Chieftains fleet. The Anti-Crusade fleet was destroyed taking that chieftain with it. The extensive bombardment of our planet resulted in the quick deaths of Chieftains 54, 55 and 56.
The thieves are the only respite remaining for us, if they can build up a fleet we have a chance, though slim. Things were working so well when we swept through the Crusade alliance space, but now regardless of the cost to them, the Crusader alliance will prevail, with the help of the Bards.
All that will be left of the alliances is the Paladins and Tyvalger, the thieves. The Clerics will likely perish from the plague.
