Sorry to hear that.

Geoshmo send a mail to all devnull4 players, to tell them I was setting up this game.

I am afraid we did not have anybody jumping off the cart, so the game is quite full.

I will contact you if someone leave a place with a viable position.

I am alone in the universe again. The alien race we spotted on the turn 2 has remained elusive. And refuses to communicate. We must prepare for war and hope for peace. I suppose we can assume he is as afraid of me as I am of him. 'Him.' I refer to him as him because a female alien would be too much to expect. And I guess I should look to see what it calls itself. Hmmm it maybe I should call it an it. And if war does come I can Demonize an 'it' easier to rouse the people to crusade against an enemy. If you just don't think of them as human then it's easier to do what is necessary. In another game I spaced 50K of population to make room for a Population exchange. I still have nightmares about that one. until next turn

I finally got a reply from the only other person in the game. Caution is the watchword. I did find a nice black hole and survived to tell about it. So much for stepping out into the unknown. I don't feel comfortable about my position but then again I would not feel comfortable unless all my enemies were crushed beneath my feat. Devnull and the Fryon map mod really enhances the game IT should prove to be interesting.

They are coming out of the woodwork! Other races are everywhere! Interesting Messages going back and forth. Politic and more Politics. I now feel surrounded and confined. Not sure how to handle all the Diplomacy. I see diffrences in races imediatly and what is worse is I tend to place attributes on the ship sets that were noticed in other games. I hope all the other playes have this problem also. I have not noticed my shipset used before so maybe I can start with a clean slate. Well things should get interesting and it is very early in the game. Chines curse " May you live in interesting times"

Well the natives seem to be friendly at this point. But I will not let my guard down. The Fryon map generated for this game is interesting to say the least. My production is ramping up and Things are moving along well. And the people I met seem to be Live let live folk. But the amount of good colonies seem hard to come by. Not sure how to approach this game. But that's why I play. I have built several ships and my economy is good. I will have to admit that all the races I have met compared to mine are butt ugly but I won't tell them that.

Well so far so good The three races I have met have made no overt acts against me and one (we will call them the BP's short for beautiful people)Have given me friendly replies to all my communications. The Russians have expanded quickly But I think they will respect my borders. And the SO's (Silent Ones) remain pretty silent. The space I am in is rich but poor at the same time. I have numerous empty systems around me. And expansion seems to be at an end. I have produced my first warships and I am sending them out. I will have to expand if I am to survive.

(names of races have been changed to protect the innocent until they prove guilty.)
