Re: (N)GC4 - Game Story Thread
Nah, aslong as it's a huge map 200+ systems it will be alright. FQm adds some but is not crucial.

Ok, It will be atleast 18 hours until start.

Re: (N)GC4 - Game Story Thread
In Orbit of the Homeworld
Councillor Dokeo looked out the window into the depths of space. The view in front of him was all but barren, it was only filled by the partly completed form of a vessel. The Council had decided that for the good of the State expansion was needed, and to begin that task this vessel was to be built. Slowly Dokeo could hear two others approach his back, without turning he spoke.
"Is the construction on schedule?" he asked.
"Yes brother. We have all but completed" answered Ergon, Chief foreman for space construction. Dokeo knew Ergon to be a hardy worker, no effort to much for the good of the State. Where it not for the touch of the gods he might well have found himself working alongside. The Gods though had greater tasks in mind for Dokeo and he was glad to obey.
“We should build Warships, not glorified transports!” exclaimed Polemo, the Auxiliary representative. Dokeo was not surprised to hear such thoughts from the Soldier caste.
“Ever are we Guardians… and Tradesmen” said Dokeo motioning to Ergon, who nodded in reply” willing to listen to the Auxiliaries in time of conflict, and if and when we find others who might be a threat we shall heed your words, but for the moment the council has spoken and our tasks have been set”
“Hmmph” grunted Polemo.
“Continue with your tasks, my brothers, I shall return to the Council and report we are on schedule. For the good of the State” he ended.
“For the good of the State” replied the other representatives in unison, as tradition dictated.
