Before you cheer global warming too much, you should go over to the Woods Hole site and look up the data they are developing about the Gulf Stream. If it continues to be over run by cold fresh water, then it will cause Europe to cool off to mean temperatures not seen in several thousand years. Europe’s capitals as far south as Rome would have winters like Moscow. But then, North Africa could see a significant increase in precipitation.

England would go from cool and damp to cold and snow... I am sure if this came to pass there would be a few nasty wars in europe and africa.
