That historical account of GUTB's demise was both informative and entertaining. Thanks, Loser, for the link. If anyone still cares, I believe the "ubermensch" thing can be attributed to Friedrich Nietsche (whom Hitler adored).

I did find one "uber" strategy in GUTB's approach that I may use if, as a newbie, I become desperate for a game. If I talk like a dweeb, maybe I can goad some of you into letting me join one.

I did find a way to make "uber 1337 invincible troops-o-d00m, ja", as I put it in the P&N-on-PBW game forum. But it only works in older Versions of P&N... see, P&N has these Buckytube Fiberweave components which are basically armor with not as much HP as regular armor but it consumes no space and costs mainly organics... and you can put them on ANY vehicle type! Soooo... I started putting enough of them on my units like troops and fighters that it would increase their HP by about 10x, but only double the mineral cost (since most of the cost was in organics)... I haven't had a chance to test my units in combat, but from the components I'd say that a carrier without the armor could easily launch fighters with a total HP equal to its own in one combat round

edit: so, Fyron, what's up with that game, anyway? Is the new guy acclimated yet? IIRC that was my first PBW game and it's STILL not finished... I was going to give my SE4 Classic CD to my brother's friend Daniel when the game finished because I got Gold, but the darn thing's still going!
