Usually I only have a single planet being able to convert resources. So its not very difficult to check what is going on there - and I make sure I double-check this important special planet every turn.
I do not see any advantages to having more than one converter. Except for messing up the economy

. Is it normal to have more planets with resource converters, and what good is it for?
