I always figured that you could analyze in that situation. The ban was on tech trading, when what people are more likely trying to avoid is tech sharing. Trading ships adds enough of a delay to make tech sharing not happen.

O.K. I've gotten a little crazy with the Encyclopedia Malfadorica links. New people bear with me, I'll get over it soon.

But definitely bring it up in the PBW forum so everyone's on the same page
