Keep in mind that you can use HTML in UBB Posts, so you could still have the in-text hyperlinks and have it a post in the thread.

The other thing about questions is that any of the existing paragraphs can be turned into a question/answer format.
If there currently is a paragraph about what a spaceport (for example) does, I could add a question above it saying "What do I need to know about Spaceports?"
I just don't see the value added in doing that.

Well then the argument would go that maybe it should be called a "guide." "FAQ" directly implies that it is written in question/answer format. I don't personally care what you call it, just pointing that out.  |

don't make a newbie guide. why? because when newbie's come here, we help them happily. but if we had a guide, we'd just point them there and they'd miss a great intruduction to the forums and we might never get to meet them.
