Never played PBW but 36 hour turns would be long enough to do each turn. All other settings are ok
Please explain how to set up and particpate in a PBW game of SEIV (i have Version 1.84 also)

The point is to make it have balanced starting positions so some players do not get screwed and others really lucky. Of course, starting near edges still screws you, but not as badly as how SE4 places starting positions normally.
