Yeah, thats a good idea. I wanted to do something similar to that with the old Grit-Tech mod. I wanted to replace boarding parties with range-1 subverters, that way I could have 'boarding torpedoes' as in Space Hulk. since this eliminates the function of security squads and defense strength, I decided against it.

Might it be better to use a drone for A.S.? You could mount a lot on a drone...
