So they blew their sun up - interesting, sacrificed themselves to kill the enemy - i would have at least had a few planet makers, colony ships and population transports cloaked and in another system ready to come back and set up some colonies !

Some mines would have gone down well to. You know having hidden ships is a good tactic for the end game.

Looking forward to the next patch thoguh.

When the dust settled all that remained of the system was setting dust floating in the void that was once a living thriving capitol system with many inhabited worlds.

"Our scouts have confirmed it Governor, the Seiticorta system, our home world and all colonies are gone."

Governor Maxium Talsarris, or Max as his few surviving friends call him, looked blankly at the data pad that his underling had just handed him.

"Sir, with the death of the Galactic Chancellor your duty is clear." The underling commented in a soft yet firm tone.

"I know my duty Drace." Said Maxium as he slowly looked up at the finally dressed military Supreme Military Commander of the Hopi System. "Summon the others my friend." He said softly as he turned and slowly walked toward his desk. He sat the data pad on the corner of the fine parchment wood desk before sitting down softly behind it in his form fitted all leather bound chair.

He had no family in the Seiticorta system, but he knew many that did. Today he will be named Galactic Chancellor and the duty of that office with all of its great burdens would soon wash over him like a flood tide. And in the wake of that tide will ride the the call for vengance. A cry that will become so loud that not even God himself will be able to ignor it.
