I'm also new to Star Control (although I've heard of it before) but I'm looking for a new PBW game so I decided I'd get involved in this one.

After some research, I'd though I'd play the Vux.

I took one of Atrocities' sets (Illuminati, hope he doesn't mind

) and did a bit of editing to get them looking like Vux ships...

Also ZeroAdunn's Gimshari shipset seems to be based on the Spathi.

So the Illuminati ship set resemebles the Vux ships? I am most shocked by this!

as I have never heard of this game before now.

Well, the race has only the one ship. It's not that close really, but with some colour changes and such it sort of does. Enough for my purposes anyway.
