Warp-points and warp manipulation
I'd like to suggest a number of things to add to warp point set-up which would make existing warp point more useful later in the game, and make it a little bit harder for me to simply plop a huge battle fleet into the heart of my enemies territory and close off the warp point before he can react.
(1) Warp point creation should only come into effect at the end of your turn; the point opens up for use at the end of your turn and your opponent has a minimum of one turn to react to that new warp point before you move your fleets through it and close it off again.
(2) Player created warp points should be inherently unstable in a random way. The warp point might callapse on itself within a few turns, open and close itself every few turns in a consistant cycle, damage ships, warp you to random systems each time it's used, etc . . .
(3) More kinds of warp points period!
