Oh, I don't know about that. I think we're about the same age, David, but I couldn't really get into Carol Burnett or Barney Miller. I watched them, but they were ok. Not belly busters, as far as I"m concerned. Monty Python is also ok, but I haven't really seen a lot of them to get an appreciation of the series. Although I do like the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail. I always saw the edited Benny Hill on late night tv. Maybe if I could see the unedited Versions of his shows. One show that I couldn't stand was Steinfield. Just couldn't get into it.

See No Evil, Hear No Evil
Pryor and Wilder

This was hilarious.
I had to share tape with my neighbors.
He is legally blind (programmer for the IRS) and she is deaf.
It took them over 4 hours to experience the film together.
They kept pausing it to do the Helen Keller talk with each other.

Thank goodness I am not alone in the universe. I found occasional bits amusing, but hated the characters. I know that was the point, but they were so reprehensible. I was glad they met the end that they did.

One of my favorite movies has got to be Ghostbusters. I can watch that one over and over again.

oh yeah, can't remember the names, but with characters archie and edith bunker. it was hilarious and touching. examined the social issue's of the day. one thing i like about it was that no one person on it was held up to be 'what you are supposed to be'. everyone had their faults (even edith ) and everyone had their good side (even archie ). all in the family, that's it.
