Re: NeGoc 5 Rules
Is it legal for an ancient to build sphere/ringworlds for some minor allies? And if so, can we gift the components to the minor so they can generate the sphereworld for themselves so it will have their atmosphere type??

Re: NeGoc 5 Rules
You can build the worlds, but you can't gift any ships, bases, planets, resources, or anything at all.
[edit: you can't trade them either.]

Thanks for answering L, that's correct.
An addendum to the rules;
If any ancient invades the first ones system, or after turn 80 any other ancients system, they are free at will to fire upon and attack all ships in that system, be they from a minor or whatever.
So the rules concerning any activity in ones own system is the same for the other ancients system after turn 80 and all the time in the first ones system.
I'll mail this out in a couple of days.

Re: NeGoc 5 Rules
I don't really understand this. I have people appearing in my system that I have an NA treaty with. How can I attack them? Only with other nonaligned minors, or go to war and break the treaty.
I also suspect I can not demand the surrender of a minor (even an AI one). Is this correct?

Re: NeGoc 5 Rules
An elder race is not allowed to break treaty with any minor before turn 120.
However, if a minor breaks treaty with an elder, the elder still cannot attack the minor, but only allow combat to happen where it occurs by accident or when initiated by the minor.
Unless the minor has property in the homesystem of the elder, in which case the elder may attack it with impunity.

Re: NeGoc 5 Rules
As far as I understand it, if a minor comes into an ancient's homesystem, and will not remove the ships, the ancient is allowed to break the treaty for the purpose of destroying the offending ships, but then must re-establish the NA treaty (or at least try to)
