Re: OT: Pay Pal Has To Pay
My experiences with PayPal have been nothing less than excellent. I charge at least one or two items a month and have never noticed an invalid entry.

Check. If you're outside the US, there are a number of people (I am one, I think Slynky is another) who will front the money to you until you can get a check to them. So...if you want in, let me know and I can paypal the $, then you can send me a check, or whatever...

Re: OT: Pay Pal Has To Pay
If you've used paypal in the Last four years, you can get some settlement money. Go to the link, fill out the form, and wait and see.

Re: OT: Pay Pal Has To Pay
Well, I got that e-mail from Paypal, and I have used my account once in the past two years to buy something from e-bay.
Is this for real? Why should I be entitled to any money, I haven't had any trouble with Paypal.
Edit:
Oh, I see, it's another one of those fake Messages made to look like it came from Paypal, but it's actually a scam designed to get you to type in personal information at the fake web page.

Re: OT: Pay Pal Has To Pay
It's not a scam, but neither is it free money to everyone that's used PayPal over the past four years.
What it is is a legal remedy for those who HAVE had any problems with PayPal regarding erroneous entries or amounts. By filing a claim, you give up the right to sue them on your own for your particular issue(s) in return for a portion of the settlement money IF you've had any problems such as those mentioned in the claim.
Personally, I've never had an issue. But apparently some people have. It looks to me from the site narf posted that most of the problems are had by those receiving money, not just sending.
